Sempra Pipelines & Storage has a 43-percent interest in two Argentine natural gas utility-holding companies, Sodigas Pampeana S.A. and Sodigas Sur S.A. The Sodigas companies control Camuzzi Gas Pampeana S.A. and Camuzzi Gas del Sur S.A., which are jointly the largest natural gas distributor in Argentina in volume, providing gas to about 45 percent of the country in two neighboring regions. They supply gas to 1.5 million customers, more than 28 percent of the overall demand, through a gas transportation-and-distribution pipeline system.

Camuzzi Gas Pampeana (CGP) serves most of the province of Buenos Aires (not counting the city of Buenos Aires and greater Buenos Aires) and the province of La Pampa, which includes key industrial and residential areas. This area includes about 1,400,000 homes, 60 percent of which are supplied by CGP. This company operates a 3,500-kilometer pipeline network and a 17,600-kilometer distribution network.

Camuzzi Gas del Sur S.A. (CGS) provides natural gas to the southernmost area of the province of Buenos Aires and Patagonia provinces, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, a region that hosts key centers for energy generation and hydrocarbon production. This area includes about 500,000 homes, 80 percent of which are supplied by CGS. The company operates a 2,500-kilometer pipeline network and a 9,500-kilometer distribution network.
